Sculpting- Roman the Hell's Angel

Image
This is Roman. He is the person I have tried to model during our sculpting classes. After talking with everyone about the people we got, we have concluded that Roman might be a Hell's Angel due to his facial hair. WEEK 1 WEEK 2 WEEK 3 WEEK 4 WEEK 5 I've been told I caricatured my model a bit too much, especially in the nose. I wasn't aware of this while I was doing it but I could see it when it was pointed out and I feel like I should try again and make a more realistic one over the summer.

Premise- Physically modelled charterer

So, last Friday Alan suggested that I should model my characters out of Plasticine rather than sit drawing them. At first I was a bit sceptical that this could work, but now I think it was a good exercise for making sure your character looks right in 3D.  These first couple of models were made at uni on that Friday. The only tools i had for sculpting were my hands so I was unable to sculpt with much detail. Also, I think I was modelling to what I had drawn too much rather than making it look sort of realistic and human. This was one I made at home on the next day after work. I had access to my sculpting tools and I decided to model my other character. Premise Update- Sudden shift!

After a talk with Alan, the idea of the main alchemist being a child or the apprentice to a much older and wiser alchemist was put forward. The way this would work would be that the alchemist is left to do homework or a set task while the older alchemist is out delivering things, collecting ingredients or something of that sort. However the younger alchemist instead reads the first few pages of the book or only half of the message left for him, gets bored or impatient and goes straight to doing something without reading the book fully, missing out ingredients or just rushing to do something so he can do something more fun than homework. Because of this, the alchemical creation goes wrong and the young alchemist needs to fix the problem before their mentor gets back. The way I can see these episodes going is the young alchemist is left to do their homework or work on somethings simple while the mentor is out. They get bored after reading the first page and immediately skip to the r
