Premise Script V1- Draft

Premise Script v1 by Ollie Thacker on Scribd This is the first iteration of the story for my premise project. At first I thought I would do a story based on making gold, as that was the action my character was doing in my Character Design project. However I thought a pilot episode where the character makes his sidekick character. I'm also considering writing the gold making episode as an additional episode. The reason why is because I'd like to do my project as a pitch in order to get this show made into a real tv show. I definitely know there are some things that need changing, especially since this is the first draft of this script. Also I'm hoping that the writing of the script will help me come up with a name for the show, something which I am struggling with at the moment.

Premise- The "Pet" colour experiment

This is sort of what I would like my sidekick/pet character to look like, especially with the one patch eye as when I think pet, I see a cat or dog with one patch eye. I would like this character to be able to change colour in a similar way to a mood ring, when the pet's mood changes or something happen it changes colour to match. Next I will look at how to make limbs come out of the character and also think of a way to rig and model all these parts.

Sculpting- Ideas

Since it is recommended that our choice of sculpture be more human, I thought I'd see if this would be more appropriate. The character is clearly human, with the only exception being the eyes a tad larger than a real humans. However this shouldn't be too much of a problem as the overall form is human.

Premise- World Logic

The world of this alchemist isn't 100% real, nor is it 100% fantasy. I think it should be: 40% Reality- I'm thinking the time period is around the Medieval era, but in a way it's a bit further on than that. The whole story should take place in a castle, perhaps one at the top of a hill or at least up above a town or city. The alchemist would be employed by the current ruler of the castle, perhaps a child ruler that wants the alchemist to make them anything they desire, or a ruler that's a little bit mad and maybe old too? 30% Fantasy- Since a big part of the character is alchemy, it would make sense to pair it with more fantastical elements. This would also allow for the monster characters to be a bit more varied and a lot more interesting. I'm thinking in this world there are also fantasy races like elves and dwarfs alongside humans, however since this story only really takes place in one castle, chances are they won't be seen 20% Steampunk- The crazy machin
