So I was doing the various renders for hand-in and this happened. Thank the Gods I already have a final render and a couple of the other renders(But not all of them)
HERO: Po SHADOW: HERALD: Master Oogway THRESHOLD GUARDIAN: Master Shifu TRICKSTER: The Furious Five (Initially), Mr Ping (wanted Po to quit to focus on noodles, discouraged kung fu training) MENTOR: Master Shifu ALLIES: The Furious Five MOTHER: No one fills this role, although Po's Father could also be fulfilling both roles as a single parent FATHER: Mr Ping (Po's Father) CHILD: No one fills this role, perhaps Po is as he seems rather childish initially, playing with toys ect.. MAIDEN: No one to fill this role. I don't think Tigeress is the Maiden as she doesn't need rescuing and she doesn't really fall for the hero SHAPESHIFTER: Master Shifu
Despite all the problems that have occurred over past few months, I feel that I have learned a lot. The Major project is the only project we have done without anything going on alongside it, the other projects always had something else happening at the same time. It was nice to concentrate on just the one thing, I felt that I could put more time into this one thing instead of splitting between multiple projects and completely different things. It made me think what would happen if we had other projects where we could concentrate on just that project. I think everyone will be mentioning that the Coronavirus has affected their work. When it first started I didn't want to come in, mainly due to the fact we are stuck in the same room all day and that the train is always packed when I come in and when I leave. I didn't adjust to working at home too well, having everyone in the house led to more than a few arguments and stressful situations, plus I work in a supermarket so I st...
While I was half way through drawing out the environment for my scene, a medieval lab, I was able to have a chat with Justin. He saw the giant machine that dominates the scene and said that I should design it as if it was it's own character, using the same ideas I designed my character with. He also said it would look great if it was bent over slightly, as if it was top heavy or as if it was designed by an absent minded individual. I am very happy with the way this came out, although I think I overdid it with the riveted metal. The main idea behind this machine is that its an all in one smelter. Ore goes in at the top and it spits out metal bars in the quenching tank at the bottom. I thought I'd add a bit of magic into my story, in the centre of the machine is an ever burning fuel source. I figure if in the world it is possible to make gold, why not more things? I think it makes sense for an absent minded character would have something like this, how many times woul...
